Tournament Information

These are player driven tournaments. There must be some responsibility put on your shoulders to ensure the success of the pool play format. We have a structured system covering the player’s responsibilities including: game times, warm-ups, court assignments, and referees. The tournament will only be as good or efficient as you make it. We thank you for your efforts and are always looking for your input.

Score Sheets

Athletes are asked to referee games/matches when they are not assigned to play. Accurately complete a score sheet for each match. Bring the score sheet to the registration table following each game/match to ensure progress of the tournament. Ideally brackets will be finishing at similar times so athletes aren’t waiting long periods for other pools to finish. Accurate score sheets will help ensure the efficient and correct championship bracket seedings.

Warm Up / Timing

Each team will be given 7 minutes from the time the score card from the prevoius game is brought to the registration table to warm up and start their game. Each minute passed the 7 minute mark, a one point deduction will be taken each minute. This rule will be strictly enforced so make sure to stay on top of the timing of each game.
